At Graceful Senescence, we believe anyone who has earned the right to be called "Senior" should be celebrated! By formulating individualized plans of care, we encourage each participant to reach their maximum potential. We address all areas that affect your quality of life (mind, body and spirit), we support health, decrease illness, and deter institutionalization.
Graceful Senescence is a fully licensed and certified Community Based Adult Services facility. We offer Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) & Community Based Adult Services (CBAS) to adults (18 and older) and elderly persons with varying health conditions. Some conditions include High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke, Arthritis, Dementia, and Alzheimer's disease.
Participants receive skilled nursing care, social services, therapeutic activities, meals (breakfast, lunch & snack) & transportation. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available as well as dietary & psychiatric consultation. The main goal of our program is to maintain, and/or improve the quality of life and prevent health declines. Research has shown that participants who receive adult day health care services deter admission to institutional care (Emergency Rooms, Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities). If you or someone you know is sitting at home, not being stimulated, there is significant risk for deterioration. Participants who attend the center regularly are healthier and happier, have improved quality of life, maintain independence longer, and experience enhanced socialization.
